Kale is a cool-season crop of the cabbage family and a healthy leafy green vegetable. It is one of the most popular and nutritious vegetables around the world with a steadily increasing popularity in India. It’s used in salads, dips and as a cooked side. It is loved for its healthy smoothies. Kale requires 4 to 6 hours of daily sunlight.
The seeds have a successful germination rate of over 70%, the seeds in the packet can be used for several sowings. Follow the sowing instructions on the back of the packet.
The major growing season is from November to January. Seeds need to be sown in late October or early November. Start your seeds indoors for a higher rate of success.
